Vidwaan Sri. Aditya Prakash (Vocal)

ADITYA PRAKASH is an award-winning vocalist known for his powerful and emotive voice and is one of the foremost young virtuosos of Carnatic music, the traditional classical style of South India. A Los Angeles native from a family richly immersed in South Indian arts and culture, Prakash’s intensive musical studies began in his childhood. At only 16 years of age, he became one of the youngest musicians ever to tour and perform with sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, accompanying him to such prestigious stages as Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl and The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall. Aditya continues to collaborate with leading innovators and artists including Anoushka Shankar; Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan; Asian Underground artist Karsh Kale, and most recently the acclaimed dancer and choreographer Akram Khan. Aditya founded the eclectic music group, Aditya Prakash Ensemble, which creates a space for dialogue between Carnatic and jazz. Aditya’s current focus in production and composition is pushing boundaries within the “classical” tradition.

Vidwaan Sri. Sriram Ramesh (Kanjira)

SRIRAM RAMESH, is an Indian percussionist who primarily plays the Kanjira, apart from a wide variety of other percussion instruments. He received formal training in playing the Mridangam and Khanjira from eminent gurus Vaikom Sri R Gopalakrishnan from Chennai and Sri N. Amrit from Bangalore respectively. After his move to the US, he has continued to tour and collaborate with legendary musicians ranging from Violin maestro Sri Ganesh Rajagopalan to Sitar maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez. His love and passion for rhythm as well as the mathematical aspects have led him to expand his musical repertoire across genres and has helped shape his distinctive playing style. His recent collaboration with Indian flautist Flute Navin and Seattle based Jazz musicians Marina Albero and Evan Flory-Barnes titled “The London Bridge Sessions” was released on all the streaming platforms.

Vidwaan Sri. Vignesh Thyagarajan (Violinist)

VIGNESH THYAGARAJAN, hails from a family of musicians belonging to the lineage of Flute Maestro Brahmasri Saraba Sastrigal. Vignesh started learning Carnatic vocal and violin at a very young age under the guidance of his mother Smt. Rama Thyagarajan as well as Shri. Susheela Narasimhan. He is now currently under the tutelage of his uncle Vidwan Delhi Shri. P. Sunderrajan. At a young age, Vignesh has become a sought-after violinist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Vignesh regularly visits Chennai to perform solos and accompany leading musicians in the December Music Season.
